LOCATIONS (that i love)

HERE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE LOCATIONS THAT ARE GUARANTEED TO WOW ALL YEAR LONG…
note:: at most locations and depending on weather this is not always true but mostly…
Winter January-march will bring darker tones think bare trees and very little grass
Spring April-June will bring green grass(think bright green)
Summer July-September will bring yellow grass
Fall October-December will bring yellow grass and warm fall colors(once weather allows)


River location (east of Lodi)

River location (east of Lodi)

the good: secluded and very few people! amazing light, gorgeous scenery and a beautiful river with easy access.

things to know: Its a bit of a drive about 25 mins east of lodi, in spring and summer bring bug spray, with all the water there may be bugs. If water pictures are a must book your session in the evening.


Oak Grove Regional Park trails

the good: Paved walk ways and clean restrooms for changing! amazing light, gorgeous Oak trees and natural scenery.

things to know: There is a fee to park, Its off of eight mile Road close to interstate 5, in spring and summer bring bug spray, with all the water there may be bugs.


Downtown Sacramento

the good: Paved walk ways! So it is good if we have had wet weather recently. Amazing light, vintage buildings and classic architecture, urban and lots of fun textures and colors!

things to know: I usually only shoot here in the mornings because it is less crowded, There is a fee to park, and depending on time of year it may be crowded.


Elk Grove Nature Walk

the good: Amazing light, water and greenery open areas but all close together!

things to know: picture location will be about a little bit of a light walk(about 1/4 OF A MILE on a paved walkway then we will be on a more natural dirt walk way for the session), in spring and summer bring bug spray, with all the water there may be bugs.


Nature Preserve, Galt

Nature Preserve, Galt

This location boasts walking bridges, gorgeous natural scenery and beautiful light.

the good: easy access from interstate 5, parking is usually pretty good and pathways are paved(most of the trails)

things to know: picture locations will be about a little bit of a light walk(about 400 yards or more), can be busy with nature walkers and or other photographers, in spring and summer bring bug spray, with all the water there may be bugs.
